Hi: मुंबई के उस व्यापक और उधड़न बाजार में भी, जहां चीख़ते बच्चे, लड़ी पीले हल्दी के ढेर, बुडियां मीठी साड़ी में लिपटी और पुराने मुकुटों की जगह रखने वाले दुकानदार भी होते हैं, राज की मुस्कराहट का कुछ अलग ही आकर्षण था।
En: In that bustling and chaotic market of Mumbai, where children screamed, heaps of turmeric were placed, old women wrapped in sweet sarees, and shopkeepers who kept old crowns, Raj's smile had a different charm.

Hi: राज था एक औसत युवक, लेकिन उसके विचार में वृद्धों सा गहनता थी। प्रत्येक दिन वह बाज़ार से ताजगी से भरी सब्जियां लेकर घर लौटता था। एक दिन, वह टमाटर की कीमत वाले बोर्ड को देखकर चौंक गया।
En: Raj was an average young man, but he had the maturity of an elder in his thoughts. Every day, he returned home from the market with fresh vegetables. One day, he was taken aback when he saw the price of tomatoes displayed on a board.

Hi: "5० रुपये किलो!" उसने उबाऊ आवाज में कहा। उसकी सुनते ही, संजय, एक बुझा सब्जी विक्रेता, अपनी दरी हुई मूछें मसलता हुआ, उसकी तरफ मुँह करता है।
En: "50 rupees per kilo!" he exclaimed in disbelief. As he said this, Sanjay, a tired vegetable vendor, stroked his unkempt mustache and looked towards him.

Hi: "राज बेटा, अभी समय है बुरा। फसलों का नुकसान हो गया है। इसलिए महँगाई है।" संजय ने जैसे-तैसे बचाव पेश किया।
En: "Raj, my boy, times are tough, the crops have suffered losses, that's why the prices are high," Sanjay tried to explain.

Hi: राज इस पर हँसा। "संजय भैया, क्या घरेलू टमाटर की फसले भी हुई थीं क्या?" वह मुस्कराया। संजय उसकी बातों को खो गये। उन्हें सोच में पड़ना पड़ा था।
En: Raj chuckled. "Sanjay bhaiya, did the price of homegrown tomatoes increase too?" He smiled. Sanjay was left speechless, he had to think about it.

Hi: राज की मदद करने की बात सुनकर, प्रिया नामक एक आकर्षक और जीवंत महिला ने भी सम्मिलित हो गई। उसने खुद को बात में शामिल किया, "राज, संजय भैया के डफ्तर में एक किलो टमाटर लेने की कोशिश करो। शायद तुम उन्हें स्वीकार कर लो।" वह हँसी में झूल रही थी।
En: Upon hearing Raj's words, Priya, a charming and lively woman from a nearby shop, joined in. She included herself in the conversation and said, "Raj, try convincing Sanjay bhaiya to sell you a kilo of tomatoes from his office. Maybe you can persuade him." She giggled.

Hi: संजय अपने आप को पराजित महसूस करने लगा। तब एक पुरानी औरत ने कहा, "सब के सब कीमती सोने से अधिक???"
En: Sanjay began to feel defeated. Then an old woman said, "More expensive than precious gold??"

Hi: सभी हँसने लगे। संजय लाज के मारे, टमाटर के दाम कम कर दिए।

Hi: राज और प्रिया ने टमाटर लिए और एक-दूसरे की ओर मुस्कराए। बाजार का दिन एक हास्य संघर्ष के साथ खत्म हुआ। और ऐसे ही, राज की कही बातें और उसकी मुस्कराहट, वह बाजार के रोजाना के छोटे-छोटे संघर्षों में खुशी और हास्य ढूंढ रही थी।
