Cs: Jana a Petr stáli na Karlově mostě.
En: Jana and Petr were standing on Charles Bridge.

Cs: Byl to krásný jarní den.
En: It was a beautiful spring day.

Cs: Most plný turistů.
En: The bridge was full of tourists.

Cs: Lidé fotili a smáli se.
En: People were taking pictures and laughing.

Cs: "Podívej, Petr!
En: "Look, Petr!

Cs: Perfektní místo na selfie," řekla Jana a ukázala na sochu svatého Jana Nepomuckého.
En: A perfect spot for a selfie," said Jana, pointing at the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk.

Cs: "Skvělý nápad, Jano," odpověděl Petr.
En: "Great idea, Jana," replied Petr.

Cs: Vytáhl mobilní telefon.
En: He pulled out his mobile phone.

Cs: Jana a Petr se postavili před sochu.
En: Jana and Petr positioned themselves in front of the statue.

Cs: Usmáli se.
En: They smiled.

Cs: Petr stiskl tlačítko na telefonu.
En: Petr pressed the button on his phone.

Cs: Ale v poslední chvíli se ve fotce objevil turista.
En: But at the last moment, a tourist appeared in the photo.

Cs: Měl obrovský klobouk.
En: He had a huge hat.

En: "Third time's the charm."

Cs: "Petr držel telefon výše.
En: Petr held the phone higher.

Cs: Jana se usmála sladce.
En: Jana smiled sweetly.

Cs: Rychlé stisknutí tlačítka.
En: A quick press of the button...

Cs: Ale hned, uprostřed jejich dokonalého úsměvu, prošel muž v klobouku.
En: But right in the middle of their perfect smile, the man with the hat walked by.

Cs: Jana se začala smát.
En: Jana started laughing.

Cs: "Ten klobouk je všude!
En: "That hat is everywhere!"

Cs: "Petr se také smál.
En: Petr laughed as well.

Cs: Náhle dostal nápad.
En: Suddenly, he got an idea.

Cs: "Co kdybychom ho pozvali k fotce?
En: "What if we invite him into the photo?"

En: The man smiled.

En: "Of course!"

Cs: "Stoupli si spolu před sochu.
En: They stood together in front of the statue.

En: The tourist with the hat was in the middle.

Cs: Petr držel telefon.
