This week we are discussing what it means to walk your life with faith, rather than sight. But first, I wanted to edify the importance of knowing that you are not walking this life alone. If you’re listening or reading this today, you need to know that you are not alone. There are many other people that have gone through what you’re going through. God wants you to know that you are not alone, if you need someone to talk to, reach out!
What it means to have faith is trusting in the unseen. I pray everyday “God, put me in the right place, at the right time, with the right people.” This is not an easy task to just trust and have faith but it’s a part of the journey. You may experience “failures” but you win when you don’t look at them as bad; rather you look at them like a stepping stone!
In Matthew 17:20, Jesus tells us to have faith the size of a mustard seed. If you do not know what this looks like, it’s very tiny!
When I opened my business I was a 21 year old college student finishing my last semester of school. I wasn’t going for a business major!!! Did I know much about business? Not really! Did I know why God was pulling me in this direction? Not really!
God knew there was more inside of me that needed to come out! I had no idea how I was going to make this work but I had faith that God was calling me in that direction.
I share the biggest testimony of my life! Are you willing to have faith, trust God and trust yourself?
Bible verse highlighted: 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 “So we are always confident; even though we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord—for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we do have confidence, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” Meaning that there is so much more than just us. When we focus on materialistic, earthly things, we are away from the Lord. Your identity is in God, your purpose, your passion!
