Story Transcript:

Lt: Vieną gražią saulėtą popietę Giedrė, Darius ir Linas nusprendė pasivaikščioti po Vilniaus senamiestį.
En: One beautiful sunny afternoon, Giedrė, Darius, and Linas decided to take a walk through the old town of Vilnius.

Lt: Jie buvo geriausi draugai ir visada kartu praleisdavo laiką.
En: They were best friends and always spent time together.

Lt: Giedrė buvo knygų mėgėja, Linas – didelis istorijos mylėtojas, o Darius visada norėdavo įrodyti, kad yra drąsiausias ir smagiausias iš visų.
En: Giedrė was a book lover, Linas was a huge history enthusiast, and Darius always wanted to prove that he was the bravest and most fun of all.

Lt: Jie vaikščiojo pro gražias gotikines bažnyčias, mažas akmenimis grįstas gatveles, o jų žingsniai atsiliepė senovinio miesto širdyje – Pilies gatvėje.
En: They walked past beautiful Gothic churches, small cobblestone streets, and their steps echoed in the heart of the ancient city – Pilies Street.

Lt: Giedrė žavėjosi skoningų parduotuvelių vitrinomis, Linas pasakojo legendas apie kiekvieną praeinamą pastatą, o Darius norėjo visus nustebinti ir parodė keistą gudrybę.
En: Giedrė admired the charming shop windows, Linas told legends about each passing building, and Darius wanted to amaze everyone and showed a strange trick.

Lt: "Pažiūrėkit, ką moku!
En: "Look what I can do!"

Lt: " – sušuko Darius ir bėgdamas ėmė šokinėti per dangčius, kurie dengė griovio šulinį.
En: exclaimed Darius, and running, he began to jump over the covers that were covering a well.

Lt: Bet netikėtai jis nuklydo ir viena koja smarkiai įstrigo tarp dangčio plyšių.
En: But unexpectedly, he slipped and one of his legs got stuck between the cover's cracks.

Lt: Bandė ištraukti, bet niekaip nepavykdavo, koja buvo įstrigusi kaip į žnyplę.
En: He tried to pull it out, but it didn't work, his leg was stuck as if in a trap.

Lt: Giedrė negalėjo nustoti juoktis, matydama Dariaus veidą, kuris buvo kaip išbalęs nuo savigailos ir gėdos.
En: Giedrė couldn't stop laughing, seeing Darius' face, which was pale with embarrassment and shame.

Lt: Linas pradėjo ieškoti kažko, kuo galėtų padėti ištraukti bičiulio koją.
En: Linas started looking for something to help free his friend's leg.

Lt: Jis rado šaką ir bandė ją panaudoti kaip svirtį.
En: He found a branch and tried to use it as a lever.

En: One of them was an old-fashioned musician with a harmonica.

Lt: Jis nusprendė sušvelninti Dario nesėkmę ir pradėjo groti linksmą dainelę.
En: He decided to cheer up Darius and started playing a cheerful song.

Lt: Nesitikėjęs muzikos suteikto džiaugsmo, Darius ėmė šypsotis ir netrukus jis ir jo draugai šoko prie muzikos ritmo.
En: Unexpectedly lifted by the joy of the music, Darius began to smile, and soon he and his friends danced to the music's rhythm.

Lt: Šokant, koja lyg stebuklingai išsislankstė iš spąstų, ir Darius iš paskutiniųjų išsilaisvino.
En: While dancing, his leg seemed to miraculously slip out of the gap, and Darius finally freed himself.

Lt: Visiems susirinkusiems tai buvo tarsi nerealus spektaklis.
En: For everyone gathered there, it was like an unreal spectacle.

Lt: Giedrė, Linas ir Darius apkabinę vienas kitą nusprendė, kad nuo šiol bus atsargesni ir niekada nepaliks draugo bėdoje.
En: Giedrė, Linas, and Darius, embracing each other, decided that from now on they would be more careful and never leave a friend in trouble.

Lt: O dalintis nuotykiais Senamiesčio širdyje visada bus įsimintinas nuotykis.
En: And sharing adventures in the heart of the Old Town would always be a memorable experience.

Lt: Tą popietę Vilniaus Pilies gatvėje skambėjo juokas, džiaugsmas ir nekaltas senamiesčio burzgimas, o draugystė tarp Giedrės, Dario ir Lino tapo dar tvirtesnė.
En: That afternoon, Vilnius Pilies Street was filled with laughter, joy, and the innocent bustle of the old town, and the friendship between Giedrė, Darius, and Linas became even stronger.

Lt: Ir nors Dario koja ilgai skaudėjo, patirta pamoka ir geros emocijos išliko juokingu bei šiltu prisiminimu.
En: And although Darius' leg hurt for a long time, the lesson learned and the good emotions remained a funny and warm memory.
