We live in an age where we're not supposed to talk about certain things. It's not that we're truly divided. We just don't feel comfortable with other peoples beliefs. So we elect to keep still during times of change and challenge. When we do speak the process of elimination takes its toll. Family members and close friends find newer places to keep their conversations alive and moving forward. On this podcast we get a little preachy about what is and isn't the presence of God? To each their own. What I personally experience is what preachers layout every week, "It's your personal relationship." That's taken me years to accept because I've held onto faith in the way that each of us carry a seed to be planted in our open fields. Over the past years such subjects have been treated like sports. You've got your pre-game followed by the post game. There are so many armchair quarterback believers that you can't help but bring judgement against yourself. What was I thinking while jotting down notes? Why can't I be more like them? God must be invisible to my reasons of wanting to believe. How we interpret the message is part of that relationship. There have been times when I've heard the pastor share his lesson and my heart chose to disagree. That doesn't make me a sinner. It teaches me to look deeper into the reality of relationship. Learning how to activate the word of God doesn't command you to be the know it all. It's when people begin to feel lesser and lesser that they jump ship to another church or stop all together,"We gave it a shot but it wasn't for us." Trust in your message received and begin a journey that will be challenged and you will see change. Stick with it. The process is quite rewarding. Just know that your personal victory may look like nothing to the passerby. It doesn't matter. It's your walk and way with a God so giving.
