4 AGO. 2021 · Ansley Davis is Lead Teacher at several studios in the North Shore area of Chicago.
She found herself there, just like a few of my other guests, to pursue a dream in dance, and found her yoga mat instead.
We completed our 300 hour yoga teacher training together this past June, and she always had tremendous feedback whenever someone taught to the group over zoom.
Our conversation was definitely more yoga focused than most in that we discussed yoga more than our lives as yogis, but it was still really interesting to talk shop about being on the other side of the mat.

She's another teacher I just completed one of my 300 hour trainings with, and she's a motivated go getter who mixes her entrepreneurial spirit with her journey of healing and growth through yoga and other forms of therapy and self care.
She's has a great story of finding her way to her mat, and an even greater vision of where she wants to take herself and her career.

14 JUL. 2021 · Amore St Ives is a San Diego-based Yoga Teacher, Training Program Facilitator, & Ayurveda Practitioner. She was my studio manager for a time when I moved back to San Diego in 2015, and she was my lead facilitator for my first 300 yoga teacher training that I began last year.
She's an inspiration, mentor, and friend to myself and many, many others in the San Diego yoga community and beyond, and I knew she'd have a lot to discuss about how she came to San Diego, how she found yoga, and how it's shaped her life now.
She's currently co-founding a holistic wellness cafe and health service studio, which we talked about during the show, and again I'm really grateful that she was able to take some time out of her week to chat with me.

We both just completed our 300 hour yoga teacher training program together, and I'm really grateful to have her come on the show, share her story of coming to terms with some difficult challenges she's had to endure, and discuss how yoga has helped her overcome, accept, and transcend the harsh reality she had to face.

Nirel (she/her) sees the world and her yoga practice through the mind of a scientist: She is constantly experimenting, observing, learning, and developing. Her classes also echo a spirit of discovery and learning through mindfulness in movement (or lack of movement).
Nirel believes that this exploratory process better acquaints us with ourselves and reveals what we truly need. She is especially interested in the state of personal restedness and explores this through Restorative Yoga. Nirel aims to provide her students with a supportive environment for mindful exploration and self discovery.

8 JUN. 2021 · Katie Kanak is a Lead Teacher at several studios in the Oklahoma City Area with an interest in Ayurveda practice and plant-based medicine.
She also incorporates her collegiate experience into her yoga and life practice, and she's been an awesome part of the nationwide 300 hour yoga teacher training we've been doing together since January.
Katie's found healing and strength from her yoga practice after several difficult challenges in life, and she has truly embraced going down the road less traveled.
