30 SEP. 2021 · A 1999 book, "The Decline of Males" by anthropologist Lionel Tiger, has proven prescient. By multiple measures the decline is real, it has deepened and it shows few signs of abating. Women have thrived by entering the domain of men; many of us men seem stunned and dazed and have fallen further into ennui, hopelessness, bitterness and despair. Can anything reverse our fortunes? We talk with Professor Tiger about the possibilities.

  • MAT EP 7 - Your Most Important Relationship Is Your Relationship With Yourself, With Rick Belden

Host Jack Kammer, a long-time activist, author, social policy researcher, jail guard, parole & probation agent and journalist, knows how important it is for men and boys to have as many opportunities for happiness, fulfillment, acceptance and understanding as women and girls do. So far — for 60+ years — the discussion has been about ensuring all those good things for females. Now we have this podcast. We're talking about what we want and need, what stands in our way, and how to get over, under, around or through it. (Sometimes just talking can be a revolutionary act.)
