1 OCT. 2019 · This week on They Became Super Heroes Podcast, I’m joined by my good friend Adam Ward. In this episode we’ll be getting into the definition of true strength. Adam has been living with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. Adam shares a few of his personal stories on what it’s been like growing up with CF, learning how to find success through struggle, and even some of the biggest lessons he’s learned along the way.

Welcome to They Became Super Heroes Podcast, this week I’m joined with my good friend David Saldanah. David grew up with a condition known as Hydrocephalus. A condition in which there is some buildup of fluid in the brain which can lead to increased pressure on the brain, leading to brain damage. In this episode we’ll be diving into David’s early life and struggles with confidence, and even basic activity, and how he has managed to beat all odds as he now participates in CrossFit and advanced gymnastic movements, two things doctors told him he would never be able to do. David’s story of trials and tribulations is nothing short of inspirational to say the least. If you’re struggling in life then this story is for you. Kevin’s story is nothing short of inspirational. In a tragic accident, Kevin was paralyzed while performing a snatch by a ricochet barbell. Since then, Kevin has helped create Crossfit’s Specialty course; Adaptive Training. Kevin has continued to beat all odds despite his set back, and will be competing for the USA National Para-Powerlifting Team, in the regional championships. Enjoy the show.
